Hi, I'm going to be going on vacation soon, and I would like to know if there's a way I can stream videos from my home computer to another computer without downloading the whole video onto that computer first. I remember reading about how someone here has a home server streaming and converting their videos to the right format for their phone with ffmpeg, and it would be nice to be able to do something along those lines, or at least just stream video on the fly.

    Thanks!

I have a handy little program called splashtop. It lets you view and interact with your computer via any mobile device. I use it to download torrents on my laptop at home while i am at work its really handy! You can watch movies if you want or even play games right from your phone!
