As of yesterday, the my WiFi has been working fine but only the first time after I restart my computer will I get a normal "Connected" popup. After that, when I connect to the network again, the status is "Not Connected" but the WiFi still works...

    Any suggestions?

Make sure that 'status' that you're seeing applies to the wireless card, and not to the standard network card. If you've recently connected to a normal wired network you might have both icons appearing now in the system tray, one for wireless (showing connected), and one for normal network (showing not connected)

I HAVE connected via WLAN and LAN in the past few days, but the LAN shows "cable unplugged" (which is fine) and the Wireless Network Connection shows "Not Connected" even though my wireless internet is working. When I go through the "repair" tool for Wireless Network Connection, I only get to "Connecting to the wireless network" and then the repair tool fails and displays the message "Could not connect to wireless network."

I also seem to have fixed it, resetting the router using various methods.
