    Standby disconnects download!

    I want my system to goto standby to reduce heat when i dl overnite but whenever it does it also disconnects my wireless connection! Is there any way to stop it from doing this?

    Standby shuts down everything except the memory (for refreshing).

    Since the wireless card, hard drive, and everything else is not running, it is not possible to download on standby.

    Lower power settings on cpu and gpu etc, and try setting windows power options to turn off the screen in 1 minute. However, make sure windows power options on not make the computer stand by or shut down the hard disk, since it will still write while downloading.
