    Hi All-

I've searched this forum and have not seen anything that addresses my question. If you are using a sprint wireless card to connect to the intetnet in the park and then go to starbucks (or another wi-fi hot spot) does the built in integrated wireless system of your computer override the Sprint connection? Does it prompt you to choose? Does your system crash because the computer is getting directions from two different sources?

I'd appreciate understanding how this works in order to better assess my needs. Thanks so much for any help.

I take it this is a theoretical question and you don't actually have a notebook with a Sprint card? Do you know the model of the Sprint card? There are a few out there and it's hard to give advice without knowing what card you are looking at purchasing.

Generally, if there is more than one wireless network available, you will have the option to choose which one you want. Your built-in wifi will show available networks, and the Sprint card application should do the same. You should have the ability to pick and choose which network you want to use.

Your notebook won't switch back and forth automatically, you'll need to do it manually. The computer can only use one connection at a time.
