    Hey,

I'm running a AC network here fyi...

On my computer, for the past week or so, when I've done tests with speedtest.net, connected to ANY Comcast server, I'm getting extremely slow download speeds (25-30MBPS.) If I connect to any other server other than a Comcast server, I'm getting the speed I should be getting (250-300MBPS.)

If I run the same tests using the speedtest app on my iPhone or iPad, I don't have the slow speed if connected to a Comcast server...I can't figure out why this is happening.

The only thing I can think of is there is some issue with speedtest.net & Comcast's servers when doing the test through .net, I'm kind of baffled by it.

    Any ideas?

Are your downloads, video streaming, etc working fine otherwise? If so, then don't worry about it.

What service are you paying for from your ISP?

If your service is 30 Mbps then don't expect too much over that.If you're paying for 100 Mbps then your speed test is somewhat low.

Turn off non essential apps while doing the test.

I have blast from Comcast (250-300MBPS), like I said the issue is only happening when testing with Comcast servers, any other servers work fine and give correct speed.

Screenies, I live a few miles outside of DC so the Sprint server is the closest from me that is NOT a Comcast server. The closest Comcast server to me is the Manassas server. Just wanted to give location info as to why one is VA and the other is DC.

Again, if this is only happening with Speedtest.net and all your other online activities are not affected, then there's no reason to be concerned.
