So since I got those speakers last summer, they tend do some strange noises sometimes (very annoying, we usuallly turn them off when not used...). My bro discovered yesterday that it was caused by the routeur...

I just did some test and man, this is crazy! When the speakers are ON, my WLAN status in my room is between 5.5 & 18mbps (and it signal strength is labelled "Perfect" or "very good"). If I turn them OFF, the signal directly goes to 48/54mbps!

I really didn't know that speakers could cause interferance, and that much????

Poorly made speakers can, but my studio quality jbl wall mounted ones have no effect on my wifi signal.

lol. I loose connection when I turn up my quality speakers. Verizon phones can interfere with wifi and planes (seriously, other brands are a-ok for use on planes...)

See page 78 of "show us your computer room" for pics of my setup. basically I have the z-5500's set up to blow my wifi away.
