    Cheers for the info!

Instead of starting a new post..... would I be best off going for the SparkLan or the Intel 4965AGN?

My laptop is an Acer 5710 - Intel Core 2 Duo T5500, Mobile Intel 945GM Express, currently fitted with the Intel 3945 wireless lan card.

Since I now have a 'N' Wireless router I may as well try out a N wireless card.

I've heard the Atheros chips are better but seeing as my laptop is Intel based I'm now kinda confused which would be best go for...

    Any help appreciated!

    Matt

Go for the SparkLAN 110N, its the newer version of the 124N
Much better than the i4965 as it does both 11n in 2.4 and 5Ghz bands
The 124N is not the best of of cards, it very unstable on my system, the Gigabyte WI06 version is more stable.
I've got some reviews lower down and also a speed test of a heap of cards as well.

With your i945 chipset stay away from the intel 5300 as it doesn't work on my machine and some others as well with this chipset

    Cheers for the info again!!

Is there any reason why the newer SparkLan 110N is cheaper than the 124N on the OxfordTec website? (Granted its only around £1.50 less)
