My VGN FS750PW laptop freezes when the wireless is turned on. Sometime the wireless card (Intel Pro wireless 2200BG) is missing when OS starts.
The internet connection is fine, just keep freezing the screen, I have to shut off the power to restart the comupter. Any suggestions ?

I guess something wrong with the wireless card, and thinking to replace it. But where to locate the card? it is not accessible from the bottom. Help!

You'll have to remove the keypad to access it.

Remove the screws on the base of the laptop that hold the keypad in place,
pry the section above the keypad up,
*carefully* detatch the ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the motherboard.

It may be worth finding an updated driver for your wireless card first before trying this.

I updated the driver, so far it works great, no more freezing. Million thanks!
