Hi, I have been trying to connect my Sony K23 notebook to my wireless router (WRT54G) but it says that "Limited or no connectivity". I have 2 other laptops, Toshiba and BenQ and both work perfectly fine.

Sometimes the K23 does acquire an IP but even then am not able to browse. Also if I try to change the network settings, it gives an error saying Physical Memory dump and then reboots.

Can anyone help me out with this?

    Thanks,

I would say that the wireless adapter in the Sony is not nearly as good as in your other laptops - although this would be very unlike Sony. Maybe you could try updating the driver for it if there is one available..

I'll sometimes see that error as the computer is connecting, but it's temporary. I'll dole out the usual first steps, update the driver for your wireless card and the firmware on your router, then report back.
