    Hey guys.

I just got moved to a different room in my house and well, I don't have the router in it anymore.

I was wondering if there is any way to plug my xbox 360 into something else to connect to live.

Like a hub or something? Something that connects to and strengthens the signal that i can plug into.

    thanks.

    Hope im not dreaming.

Edit: Oh and I forgot, I have an old Linksys router somewhere.

Is it possible for me to hook that one up too?

or would two routers in the same house slow down the internet and etc.

Can you get a wireless signal to your room? Is so add a wireless game adapter. (Some AP can be setup for this). You may be fighting lags with wireless. The best would be run a cat5e cable to your room.

If you have another router laying around you can turn off the router feature and just make it into a switch. Just go into the features and turn off DHCP.

What you need to do is login to your old Router, disable DHCP, then plug a wire from your New router's Switch ports (one of the 4 Ports together) then plug that wire into your Old Router's 4 port switch. Or you could just run a wire from where you new router is to your new room.
