    Hi

    Here is my situation..

    A few days back i had a few problems and my laptop was wiped, so i decided a complete re-install was needed i purchased a Windows xp professional disk and installed that, but now im trying to sort my wireless internet connection and with no luck, im not sure what i need to install because usually the wireless is in "Network connections" but i just have Local area connection which i can connect when hooked up downstairs.. i have a Acer laptop (aspire 3630) and a 802.11g wireless Cable/Dsl Router micra digital, if you need anymore info i will provide a.s.a.p

    Go to your manufacturer's website and download the drivers.

    You need to install the wireless adapter's driver in order to make it works. Use your driver installation CD to do it.. If not, go to manufacturer's website to download the driver for your adapter.

    After the driver installation, configure the wireless adapter to match the router's setting, then connect to wireless network. That's all.. Good luck..
