For the past year, I have been having a problem where I would lose my internet connection every few days.

Someone suggested that in Windows 7 I reset the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).

I do not know as of yet whether my disconnect is solved.
I do notice that my internet connection is faster.

How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

It seems like this should be done every few months.
A very simple thing to do.

    also, resetting winsock.
