Is there a software that I could use for monitoring my router network? I’d like to watch speed, downloads etc.?

As far as I know, in order to monitor the network you would need to have a server (or PC) acting as the router, and then you would install software to monitor the network.

Some routers have logs that you can review that show network usage. Does you router have these logs?

Unfortunately no. I can only see ip and mac adresses and that’s practically all.

Why do you want to monitor your network connections? Do you think someone is stealing bandwidth, or is it just one of those "I'd like to see what's going on for no particular reason" things?

    Have you looked at this?

I haven't done any research on it, so I have no idea if it applies to your situation.

A managed switch can be used to send syslogs.
