This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've been using the free version of ZoneAlarm for as long as I can remember :) .... never had a problem with it.

    don't use a sofware firewall. I'm behind a Cisco PIX firewall.

    I used both my wireless router's firewall and ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite.

    Using both my routers nat firewall and zone alarm free edition. So far so good.

    Zonealarm is prob. up there, but it has problems when you try to create a network. I set up all the permissions, and I still couldn't connect to other computers. If anyone has a solution, I'd be glad to hear it...

    Nvm, I'm just retarded: I had my NIC in the "internet" zone instead of the "trusted" zone. Now everything works great. One more rec for zonealarm!
