Just decided to make a thread so all the owners who took advantage of the group buy on these cards, to come here and talk about it, their experiences, etc.

So to start off, what Wireless client are you using for it? :)

Using WZC I use it every day (weekdays anyways) 8 - 16 hours a day. WPA2 / Linksys Ver 1.1 WRT54GS running Firmware: DD-WRT v23 (12/25/05). Router was up 60 days and I just recyled everythng about two weeks ago for a different issue. (with the 2915abg I would power cycle the routers weekly or bi-weekly)

Since the day it arrived (about 2 monts ago) and I installed the card it has not once , ever , ever dropped a connection. I can usually see 0 - 7 other connections , still never dropped. My router is on the top floor of a two story home. Connection is solid and stong even in the basement (previous 2915abg would wig out once in while down there)

I am very impressed to me it has the stability of a wired connection. No comparision to the 2915abg card it replaced.

I am using the default drivers that came with the CD 4.1.2.71 (could not find any online).

I like it, I recommend it, I would buy it again.

I beleive the reason the atheros cards are liked so much is because they are better supported by linux, linux-based tools, and other powerful wifi utilities.
