    Hello everyone,

Wow I haven't made a post here in a LONG time, although I do visit every single day. Anyways, finally I am going to be getting DSL, so I need some networking goods.

Anyways, my brother and I are going to be sharing the internet. His room is about 6-8m away through two doors. The router will be in his room (connected via a cable), so I need a PCMCIA card and Wireless Modem Router (the modem and router must be in one).

I have no idea what to go with, there are so many options. I'm from South Africa so I don't as many options as you Americans, all the popular brands such as Gigabyte, Asus, SMC, D-Link, Planet, Linksys, Netgear (not as much) are easily available. I just need something that is reliable and affordable!

    Some options:

Netgear WG511GE (cant find the "GE" on Netgear?)
    Gigabyte GN-WMKG
    Gigabyte GN-WMAG
    Gigabyte GN-WM01GT
    Planet WL-3560
    Planet WML-3565
    Asus WL-100G (antenna)
    SMC SMCWCBT-G
    D-Link DWL-G630
    D-Link DWL-G650

    Billion BiPAC 7202GR2
Netgear DG834G (can probably get a free Wireless USB with this)
    Planet ADW-4301
    Planet ADW-4401

Will post some more options as I find them. The Planet stuff looks pretty cheap and good..

That way it's going to cost too much. The WKPC54G is really expensive here. I'm pretty sure those above are my only options..

I have a built in Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Mini Card (54Mbps). So to have a wi-fi set up I just need a router? Correct? That's the small box with the antenna sticking out of it?
