After setting up the wireless network (we're only sharing the printers, nothing else), I started getting the printer set up. I got the printer to work by connecting it (via ethernet) to my wireless router. I've ried printing stuff, and it works fine. But one problem is that it's so *censored* slow! It takes literally 10 minutes just to send a 50kb word document over. I have no idea what's causing this. Any help or suggestions?

    PS. I'm using a D-Link DIR-615.

What version of Windows? Which printer? Do I understand you correctly that the printer is directly connected to the network via its own network printer port?

I recently had a similarly slow experience connecting to an HP Laserjet. However, that printer was a shared printer on an old PC.

A network printer port? Mind explaining please? I'm not too familiar with networking. All I know is that the printer is connected to the wireless router with an ethernet cable. The router is connected a modem. And our two laptops are connected to the router wirelessly. Both of them have the slow printing issue. Both are using Vista 32-bit. The printer is from HP.
