So i just received a new laptop, the sager np7352 with the new wireless 7260 intel card. I've noticed that my download speeds are currently very slow, averaging at around 200 KBps. My old laptop would generally hover around 2 MBps so I feel like that there is something seriously wrong here? The router I have is the apple Airport extreme. Even websites seem to load slower and I find this issue to be very bothersome :(.
I am currently using microsoft security essentials and windows firewall.

Anyone know how I could fix this issue? Thanks for any input!

Are you connected to the 5 GHz band? Make sure on your Airport setup utility to give different SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band.
