When I using a network hub(NOT router) to connect two computers, my internet surfing become very very slow(also can't finsih loading a page, stop half way), download and transfer file is fine.
I am using cable, does anyone know what casue that problem?
If I just connect modem to one computer dircetly, everything is fine.
    Very strange to me!!

I'm sorry, I'm not sure how you connect your coms, but if I guess right, the possible problem is that cable connection that you made were wrong. But could you tell us more in details how did you connect the cables???

First thing first, check all your hardware, be 100% sure all of them are working fine. ( network cards, hub, cable, etc.)
Cuz sometimes even new cable could be defective, I bought some cables from BELKIN(spelling??) before but a single one of them was defective( it looked nice [ :p] ).

If not the hardware problem plz give us more info so we can help.
