    Slow connection help

    Ok guys I'm having problems with my internet connection,

    as you can see I have a good connection but slow speed when I go closer to my router it becomes much faster around 15MB.
    But I just bought a new router last week so it cant be that, maybe my wireless card? is it good or bad?

    what kind of wireless nic? router? network settings? where is the router in relation to where you are (i.e. through walls, floors, etc.)?

    The router is a Linksys E3200, my wireless card is a Ralink RT5390R

    I dont get why I have strong signal but a slow connection. I think its the wireless card.

    yea, i'm okay with you ignoring the question about where you are in relation to the router. we can be pretty sure that signal's not the issue here. ;) is this same thing happening with other laptops/devices connected to the same network? does your laptop do this while connected to other wireless networks?
