So I got a new Dell e1405 with built in wirless and all that. So I got it, found my home network on it, typed in the WEP and succesfully connected with good speed and all. The problem is, that it stays connected for about 1 minute before losing the connection somehow and then it will regian it a few minutes later. Is there anyway I can keep it connected so I can start using it?

Can you fill us in on what kind of router you have and what type of 802.11 you're using? How far away are you from the router and is there another laptop / PC in the house that does not have problems with it?

I have a PC in my room that is wireless that I am using now. I have the laptop on my desk right next to the pc, and the router is 10 feet away. Only the laptop is having problems. The connection is great, just staying connected is my problem. And I'm not sure on the 802.11, but I got the laptop yesterday from my school if that helps.
