For some reason, my wireless signal strength maxes at 99%...
There have been a few rare occasions when 100% is displayed but that usually doesn't last and it is extremely rare

Instead, it usually is at 99%

I use the iStat Wireless (by iSlayer) and Wireless Network (by David Taraso) gadgets.

I'm just wondering why this is the case.
    Thanks

I wouldn't sweat. You may receive 100% signal right next to the router, but other than that, you probably won't be getting 100% signal strength.

    ??

do you mean your internet is still fast when your signal strength just shows 20% >> that normal, as the signal strength has little to do with the speed of your connection.....

Yeah, the internet is still fast (I have cable) even when the signal is weak..so in the end, it doesn't really matter at all.
