    Should I be worried about this?

    I was sitting in the laundrymat when the computer informed me that wireless network 2 was now conected. they do not have WiFi it could be it tapped into the security camera.

    Eh??? Then how could they have wireless w/o WIFI? Personally, I shouldnt be worry about it.

    maybe its somebodies wireless
    i wouldnt be worried about it eiter
    try clicking
    "view wireless networks"
    maybe that will answer your doubts

    Many people any more also run ad-hoc networks and wait for people to enter passwords and such. There could also be something like a Panera Bread or whatever across the street. Wireless signal doesn't stop at property lines necessarily ;) I would highly recommend disallowing automatic connection to unknown networks, though. That's just a problem waiting to happen.

    I would be concern if you did not initiate the connection. This is bad security and is one way viruses and worms are passed around.

    In you advanced settings you have a a option to connect to any open connection. You want to disable this. While you are there change the setting to connect only to AP.

    Yes, disabling this would be a beneficial. Let windows inform you when it detects new wireless networks and ask before it does anything. Also, I'd set your firewall to "internet" settings to disable file sharing. There is also Network Magic, which is a exceptionally handy utility.
