Well, I have a choice to make soon.
Has anyone on this site in the last 6 months or so used any of the following services:
1] T Mobile Hot Spot at Home using the D Link wireless router (Not to be confused with the newly launched At Home program.

    OR

    2] Vonage

I had Vonage a couple years back with disasterous results.

It worked fine for about a month. Then many, many, many dropped calls + many calls where after the first couple minutes either I couldn't hear the other person, or the person I called couldn't hear me. After many rounds with tech support at both Comcast and Vonage, each insisted that it was a problem with the other one. Now, I don't know what to think. I have zero problems with my cable Internet ISP (Comcast). The problem is that I am on call quite a bit so I need something which is dependable. The At Home program from T Mobile with the Linksys Router simply would not work. Many hours of tech support from both Linksys and T Mobile ended with each one finally giving up on me. Two NEW out of the box Linksys routers were defective, and when I was on the third one I decided no more Linksys for me.

So, now it is either the T Mobile D Link wireless router OR Vongage, OR back to Verizon, which I truly dread.
