I'm trying to get bittorrent running on my computer but I'm having a few issues. I have to go through an SSH tunnel in order to avoid having my packets killed by Allot's NetEnforcer. I'm using a guide found here. I am able to use PuTTY to connect to the public computer and I have my bittorrent client program set to use the Proxy SOCKS server I have set up and open but I'm still told I'm firewalled. I can connect at a snails pace but don't have any of the "green smiley faces" which Azureus uses to indicate a full and working connection (I have μtorrent and Azureus). If anybody can think of a tip to get things fully moving, I'd really appreciate it.
