I have an ADSL2+ net, and i use Glite modulation on it because ISP plan is 2Mbps and download works like ADSL which gives 180KB/s even on ADSL2+ modulation. So i use Glite for error-free connection to ISP exchange, works better for sensitive SNR copper line and better net responsive.

But ISP is performing large scale maintenance recently and i get SNR (dB) -13 spikes from time to time that drops the connection. Now i switched back to ADSL2+ and got the line stable for an hour or 2 now.

So Glite gives 21 SNR(dB) long before and when spikes occurs modem report -13 SNR(dB). Now i used ADSL2+ i get 33 SNR(dB) and is stable. How does it work in this case?

I want to use Glite because net is much more responsive. And ADSL2+ saves the drop. Just damit.
