I set up a network, and my HP dv2000t says that it is connected, but I can't browse the internet. On my PC, it says my connection is firewalled. Do I need to turn this off, or is there something else I can do?

Do you have an ip address? Start -> Settings -> Network Connections -> Find your device. Look at the status. Repair if you need to

Try allowing your laptops ip address in your firewall setting.
