    Hi every one !

I am looking into buying into a new router since I just got a NAS hard drive and I want to accelerated speed from the laptop to it. Also, my router isnt even gigabit on LAN !

My laptop has a AC card in it (alienware 17), so i am interested in a AC router.

I read abit about Asus AC1750, while interested, 209 $ CAN is a bit expensive !

Wondering if you guyz have any less expensive alternative ? I saw a netgear ac 6250 at 139$ CAN. It is a bit more reasonable.

I found in another thread a link showing Throughput and the netgear didnt seem that much slower.

Is the 70$ for the Asus worth it ?

    Any advice?

    Thanks for any help !

    Jo
