    Hi,

I am one of the many that have ordered the Atheros AR5006XS card. (MiniPCI card to fit my Sony Vaio TR3)

Which is the obvious, or best choice of Router/Access Point to match this card?

    Cheers
    Rich.

Any router or access point will be able to give you good performance... just buy from a reputable company, like Linksys, Netgear, D-link, etc.

Stick with Atheros based AP/Routers so you can get the benefits of the special speed modes they can go into. Dlink and Netgear are known to use them. I prefer the Dlink 634M after going through a couple of different routers.

I did some reading and Netgear or Linksys seem to be the way to go.

Too bad I purchased the Belkin Pre-N router recently when I got my laptop. :(

    Cheers,
