Is there a "best" modem to look from from Time Warner for use with Road Runner/Digital Phone service?

    Just curious.

Do they not supply you with a modem? I find they usually lock the MAC address down to their service.

If its an eMTA box you are after, probably the Motorola SBV series. Check your ISP's approved modem list first.

Yes, they provide it...........just wondering if I should ask for a specific model.

I just got rid of my Motorola SBV4200 that I had for about 8 years, and they gave me a Scientific Atlanta DPX2203.

Just checking to see if any one model is better then another.
