I have a quick question regarding reverse networking, in which I would be able to connect something to my laptop to access a wireless network. In a sense it's using your notebook as a WAP, but wanting to connect say another router through it? or a VOIP. Thanks for the help.

Are you referring to wireless ad hoc mode?

No, not ad hoc. More like I am using my neighbors wireless connection (they know ;) ), but I also have a Sunrocket phone. Instead of paying $40 for my internet connection, I would like to use theirs as my main wireless access. I would also like to keep my Sunrocket phone going as I have business use associated with that phone line.

It sounds pretty confusing, but I wanted to know if there was a device that could use your wireless signal and allow something to wire into it. Not wireless.

OK. I think what you're thinking of is Internet Connection Sharing then. Your computer connects to the wireless, then shares the connection through it's wired LAN port.

Hey I believe that would be it. I am not sure though if I can configure the Sunrocket Gizmo to connect to my notebook.

Should work. Connect the Gizmo's WAN port to your computer after configuring ICS on it.
