I have a wireless router that has been set up already.

If I want to reposition it to a better location, is it as simple as unplugging it, reposition it and replugging back the ethernet cable from the modem?

All the settings such as the the SSID should still stay the same or do I have to reconfigure everything again?

    Thanks.

That, as long as you don't hit the reset button you'll keep all settings.
