Does anyone know if there is another wireless card I could use to replace my current thinkpad a/b/g mini-pci card that is in the Thinkpad z60t?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Yes, right now if i had to pick an internal card, it would either be the Intel 2915 because of A/G/B, and it has a lot less issues than the 2200 card. The other one would be an Atheros card. Do some research on these cards and if there is anything you don't like or you like another card better, pick the one you think is best, or find one and ask up if you need any help deciding.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know if the thinkpad z60t has a proprietary motherboard so that only the IBM a/b/g mini-pci adapter works with it or will any mini-pci card do?

    Thanks again,

    Steve

I'm not sure if it will work, because ThinkPads are known for it's security mechanisms, and I know that previous ThinkPads would not work if foreign parts(Such as a Mini-PCI) was installed, as BIOS would reject it.

Call in support and ask would be the best thing to do :)
