    im looking into buying a repeter for my b/g connection and i have a question... if i am close enough to the origional router will it bother running through the repeter? i ask this only because ive seen people loose speed due to repeters, because it has to rerout the singal and stuff

    using a repeater will decrease your throughput, which in terms lowers your connection speeds since it has to clean the signal up and retransmit it. All thanks to my Cisco class! [ :D]
