Okay, so turns out I can't use my Vista Upgrade Anytime DVD (It's one of the old ones).

Does anyone know of a good remote desktop application?

Unfortunately I have a few restrictions:

It can't require a restart of the computer
It should actually show my desktop
It should be like I'm at my computer, not only transfer files between the two stations.

    Can anyone help me out?

ALSO: I'm using a router, but I'm forwarding the ports required as per www.portforward.com for remote desktop.

Will I have to restart the computer I'm controlling from? That's what I don't want. Which computer is the "viewer" and which is the "server"?

Server goes on the computer you want to remotely access.

Viewer is the one you will use to RDP

EDIT: If your having a hard time with VNC just use LogMeIn
