So I purchased a laptop with some bloatware on it and decided to do a clean install of Vista to remove it, and now it doesn't detect my internet connection. I'm using a router and wired broadband, and it works if I connect to other computers in the house, but not the laptop. What do I do?

Look on the forum index page and find the board for your laptop manufacturer. Check out that board for re-installation instructions.
