I did a factory restore on my Lenovo U350 and now my wireless internet connection is really slow. Prior to formating it worked fine. Other laptops in the house work fine.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but that didn't seem to help. I checked the power settings on the adapter and set those to max performance (Win 7). That's all I've tried mainly because I don't know much about setting up wireless networks.

Any ideas from anyone on what else I may try?

    Thanks

I had a simialar problem and I noticed that when I reformatted and used the restore disk, it put back my original wireless network card driver. I went to manufacturer website and downloaded the newest driver for my wireless card and it improved my speed dramatically. PReviously my connection would go from 54mbps all the way down to 1 mbps but after the new driver.....it stays at 54mbps all the time. Just a suggestion.

I take that was a sarcastic remark........so for your information that is the speed connected to the router, not my internet speed. DUH!

Thanks Bryan K, that's an idea, I'll try dowloading the current driver from Intel and try that.

    Thanks
