    Hi everyone,

I'm dubious of Yahoo and especially of Google, and am seeking recommendations for a secure email provider. I ran a quick search and the best I could find was "hushmail", but I don't like to wear my privacy on my sleeve, and surely there must be more out there than that...

    Any recommendations?

Free is best, and POP service would be a nice bonus.

    Thanks!

Secure as in nobody reads your email, or anonymous as in nobody can trace it back?

Hushmail isn't a very private or secure mail service.

Nothing is actually free. Yahoo! and Google and all the other free mail service providers use market analysis and targeted advertising to pay for the services they provide to their customers.
