When it's an ADSL you should always go for something with a Broadcom chipset- these are far better than modems based on TI AR7 and Conexant.

    We're talking ADSL stuff, right?
If that's the case- that would be ADSL2+ (up to 24mbps).
There are quite a few good modems from TP-Link, Drytek (expensive) and Thomson- most important part is an ADSL chip and Broadcom tends to be the best.

It seems to use a Broadcom chip and Motorola has a good reputation when it comes to modems so it should be OK.

It should be OK but D-Link isn't really known for good firmware support.
What about TP-Link TD-8840? It costs even less, uses the same chipset and is pretty good with firmware updates.
    Mind you TP-Link TD-8840 not TP-Link TD-8840 T

Hey thanks! That's what im looking for! Im trying to find a reputal seller online. I found bluebuyer.com but it seems fishy. I can't find any reviews about the site, and it looks like that domain is up for sale by owner.
