I have a Lenovo e420s and I am having network problems.

I lose internet connection about every 30 minutes. And when I run the network troubleshooter it doesn't detect any issues. The network icon shoes its connected to the router with full bars.
There are no problems with the router and internet works on other computers.
I have found a way to regain internet. I go to device manager and I disable and enable the network adapter. But I want a permanent solution to this.

    ---------------------------------

Also when laptops get to critical battery stage, they usually shutdown in a few minutes. But mine takes 20 minutes to shutdown. The screen goes blank and I cannot do anything. What could be the issue here.

I guess one thing to check is if there's newer firmware for your router. Another thing is the power settings on your wifi adapter. It's possible that Windows is putting it into max power saving mode and drops your connection.

The second issue sounds like it could be a possible driver issue or similar as above - everything is in max power save making it slow as hell. Does the hard drive light flash and seem like it's doing something? Take a peek at the event log, that might point out what's going on.
