    Can the 802.11a\b\g\n let a laptop computer connect to a connection which is wired? I have Verizon FiOS and they installed a wired router in my house and I am wondering will I be able to browse the internet anywhere in my home with or without a wireless router? Thanks in advance!

    If you have the actiontec router is has a built in 11g AP, (it is a wireless router).

    Point your browse to http://192.168.1.1 this will get you to the admin page of the router. Change the def admin password if not done. You need to setup WPA security. Use a wired connection when you do the setup, there are always mini reboots that will drop a wireless connection. Make sure you use a strong key, with A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and !@#$%^&*(), you can use any printable chr except ". I use keys from www.grc.com they have a random generator, then remove the ". You will find that they keys look like garbage, that whats make them so good. Just copy and past to note pad and save. Then use copy and paste for the key, this eliminate human errors. You should use max chr allowed, but 20 chr are enough for a good key.
