Alright, so I've been considering getting an Intel 6200 for my Asus 1201N. The thing is, it only has one antenna connection. What are the consequences running the Intel 6200 with only one antenna?

    It's a dual antenna connection for anyone who doesn't know the card, here's a link to it: Amazon.com: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 - Network adapter - PCI…

    Thanks

It can't be only one.. Every one I've ever seen has had 2. Hence Rx-Tx. Dual band usually has three, but single band has 2. Should work.

Do I need a special type of antenna since it's 2.4 and 5ghz?

there has to be another antenna in there.
take the back cover off if you have to, if there
really isn't, then just get a tyco dual band 2.4/5ghz
antenna. About $1 each. You might as well also install
a 3rd antenna and upgrade to a better wifi card.
