Hello i live in rural Oklahoma and my phone company is privatley owned, which means i have to use their dsl,no other company can come into area.Anyway they had some phone lines run under some lake about 2-3miles,well i guess they had problems with it,so they deleted part under lake and put microwave at each side of lake to complete the run then rest of line is hard wire.Anybody ever here of this, seems my online gaming has gone to the birds, could this effect ping.My downloads are good but my online gaming sucks.....im at a loss as they say everything is ok nothing can be done.

    Check your latency
Go to speedtest.net and test, then report back your ping latency

razorjack: I have a signal three times stronger than that with an EVDO signal. This is to slow for gamming.

You are better off using wireless broadband or satellite internet than what you have now. There is no way you are going be able to play @ those speeds, not without ridiculous lag.
