    Proxy IP question

    first off, sorry for startin this thread here. i have no idea where to put this thread. please move if needed. thanks =P

    now...i play maplestory with some buddies of mine and 1 of them plays from europe. well boarding school is over for her and she had to move back to malaysia. the server that we play on blocks all IP's from SE asia.
    my question is: do u have to pay for a proxy IP or are there free ones that she can use?
    i dont have any experience with proxy IP's or this particular situation. she basically needs somethin that will mask her IP so she can log on the USA server again.

    any help will be greatly appreciated. all the hard work and money spent on her characters are all goin to waste right now =(

    Browse through some of the following and see if anything suits your fancy; some appear to be free, others are by subscription, and there are varying degrees of anonymity. In terms of cost, however, I would tend to go with a reasonably priced for-pay proxy server because (i) you get what you pay for, and (ii) since it costs money to run a server, whoever owns the server has to be getting money to pay for it somehow, and if it's not stated up-front, then you have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes.
