About a month ago I installed comodo firewall. Immeadiately I was unable to connect to the internet. I uninstalled comodo and still no luck. So I have been messing with it on and off since thne trying to figure it out until today when I noticed that the vista security center said that comodo was running. The only problem is that comodo is nowhere to be found on my computer. I had removed it. I turned off the windows firewall hoping that that would help but have had no luck. DOes somebody know anything I can do to fix this short of formatting the hard drive.

How did you check to see if everything was removed? It's possible that you just removed it with respect to one user account, but that it's still there for other user accounts, if you didn't use administrative level to uninstall from the computer and all accounts.

the account I sign in under is the admin account. I should just have to uninstall from there right?

Have you contacted Comodo? I have used their tech support in the past and had good results.

Yes, that's the best way to do it. I have one more question, do you work with a flash memory stick?
