    Hi guys,

One of my friends is having a problem with the wireless connection in our house and i was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and could point me in the direction of a solution.

The problem is with her ze4800 and a Linksys WPC54G wireless card.

The card installs, but the network never shows up.

The very same card (it is actualy mine, am lending her it) works on my Dell c610 and my dads c400 with no problems at all, and other computers in the house are connecting to the router fine.

I thought it could have been her current setup, but after a fresh windows install, still nothing.

Is there any problems that the ze4800 has with PCMCIA wireless cards? I was considering that it could possibly be a compatibility issue? im not realy in the know about laptops. Has there been some form of change in the format of the PCMCIA slot in the hp (hp is 6 months old, card is 18 months old).

Any suggestions on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Updating firmware on router can sometimes help. Could take it elsewhere to another network see if it works there.
