Hi to everyone. Sorry to bother, but i really need help with this issue. :(

    Sorry for my english.

I bought an USB Wi-Fi adapter for my notebook (Samsung RF411), a TP-Link TL-WN821N 300Mbps 2.4GHz. After the driver installation and the utility program, i decided to check it out the status of the Wi-Fi (trough those wi-fi bars on the Windows and trough the utility program too) and for my surprise my speed was 1Mbps! I've tried in all the four USB ports in my notebook (two ports are USB 2.0 and two are 3.0) and just nothing, 1Mbps (the signal was fine, it was full bars - excellent status - ).

Then, i changed the speed of the USB 3.0 ports in the BIOS (changed from 2.5Gb/s to 5Gb/s) and the speed of the Wi-Fi reached 120Mbps with some oscilation to 60Mbps. But still, the navigation and download rate was still horrible.

I tested the adapter on another notebook and it worked! The speed reached 300Mbps with oscillation to 270Mbps, navigation and download were perfect (note that the adapter in this notebook was in an USB 2.0 port).

What the heck is going on with my notebook? Why it doesn't work? I mean, it ''works'' only in the USB 3.0 ports and it works very poor.

What can i do to solve this issue?

    Some other info:

    My router is a TP-Link TL-WR841ND (300Mbps) brand new.

I checked the channel and it was clean.

I put my notebook more closer to the router (4meters) and the speed reached 300Mbps with the 270Mbps oscillation, but the navigation and the download were still poor/horrible. (I use my notebook like 10 or 11 meters from the router)

    My notebook specs:

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits

    i3 2310M 2.1GHz

    GT 540M 1GB

    Wi-Fi adapter >> Broadcom BCM4313GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 (got this info using AIDA64)

    Thanks.

The v4 of the TP-Link TL-WN821N USB 2.0 adapter uses the Realtek RTL8192CU chip while v1,v2 and v3 used Atheros.

    Station-Drivers - Realtek (Wlan)

Is the router set to WPA2 AES?

Is the internal WiFi card removed or disabled?
