So after doing a "Windows Easy Transfer" (misnomer) yesterday, I'm having a baffling problem with my new PC. Every so often, with no real pattern or trigger, it will drop my wifi connection and re-establish it a second or three later. I had no such issues with my new PC prior to the transfer, nor any such issues with my old machine. None of the other computers connected to our network are having the same problem. I tried turning off power management, updating the drivers, and uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers, all to no avail.

It's really disruptive and annoying and I have no idea how to fix it short of reverting to factory image, which I don't want to do for obvious reasons.

    Help? :D

It's a low end card so it may be more likely to have issues when signal quality is not the best.
Use inSSIDer to check if your signal is not only strong but also consistent.
If there are other networks using the same channel, change it (on the router).
Also consider other devices that use 2.4GHz band and may cause problems- Bluetooth devices or cordless phones for example.
