Lately, for about two weeks now, I have not been able to view attachments I receive via email. When I try to open the attachment, a new window opens saying Internet Explorer can not display this webpage. Can anyone help me?

Could you give us a little useful information?

For example, I am using hotmail with the IE browser, I am opening an attachment in the format pdf.

Seriously, if I call my mechanic and say, "My car doesn't start---uhm, it's a blue one," he would hang up on me.

No, he wouldn't, he'd start the meter running on your bill, with images of his next big sport powerboat dancing in his head! :D :)

My response sounded more harsh than I intended. It's just that I have run into this problem three times in the last 7 days and each of them was a different problem.

A little, but then again, once you've posted "more info, please," to enough different threads, it starts to get a little tiresome. Unfortunately, when you're giving it away for free, there isn't much you can do other than that; however, I doubt if your mechanic works for free (if he does, send me his contact details :D), and as someone who has to log billable hours, I understand quite well that anyone who bills by the hour is only too happy to start the meter running on such an open-ended question - why, by the time you get all the facts out - the point at which you can begin thinking about the problem at all - you might have run up three or four billable hours!
