Hi. I go in and out of sleep mode a lot on my laptop, but it usually takes 30 seconds or so before the computer reconnects to the wirless network. I was wondering if any of you know how to make it connect faster like it does on a mac. I am running Vista Home Premium on a Thinkpad T61. Thanks for your help.

Change your energy management so it is not powered down. You will find the setting in 2 places, Control Panel and Adv Port settings.

Change your power management to Always on or Extreme Performance.
